Steven Carter serves as Assistant Branch Manager at The Lake Doctors’ Myrtle Beach office, bringing a strong background in mechanical systems, equipment repair, and pest control to his role in aquatic management. Before joining The Lake Doctors, he gained hands-on experience working with vehicles, equipment maintenance, and chemical application, all of which supported his transition into the environmental services industry.

He joined The Lake Doctors in May of 2020, during the early development of the Myrtle Beach branch, which at the time consisted of a small team and limited equipment. Since then, he has contributed to the significant growth of the branch, which now includes a large, skilled team and expanded operational capabilities.

Steven comes from a family with deep roots in racing and mechanical work, and personally raced motocross for 16 years, further strengthening his technical mindset and work ethic. In his current role, he is focused on supporting field operations, team development, and maintaining high service standards.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. He is newly married and part of a blended family with five children. He and his family share a love of animals, and he especially enjoys time with their golden doodle, June.
