Mark Seymour serves as Sales Manager for The Lake Doctors’ Jacksonville branch. He joined the company in September 1987 in Sarasota, Florida, as a Biologist, and relocated to Jacksonville in 1989 as a Sales Representative. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in the growth and expansion of the Northeast Florida region, helping develop it into the company’s largest field office.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1986 from Oral Roberts University, graduating cum laude with a minor in Chemistry. He also completed pre-medical studies and worked as a Laboratory Technician at Mote Marine Laboratory during the summers of 1984 and 1985, where he studied red tide organisms.

Throughout his tenure with The Lake Doctors, Mark has contributed in a variety of technical and leadership capacities, from field operations and lake management to sales and regional development. Beginning with a small team in a single office warehouse, he helped expand services across Northeast Florida, Gainesville, the Florida Panhandle, Southeast Georgia, and into South Carolina. He considers his greatest professional honor to be the opportunity to work alongside and support so many dedicated team members over the years.

Outside of work, Mark has been married for 39 years to his wife, Deanna, whom he describes as his exceptional, brilliant, and loving partner and the mother of their four sons and and grandmother to their amazing grandchildren.

Mark enjoys fishing, though he jokingly considers himself “the unluckiest fisherman alive,” as well as spending time near the ocean and in the Rocky Mountains. He has also been told he bears a resemblance to filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
