Ken Baker serves as Sales Manager for The Lake Doctors’ Fort Myers branch and is the company’s longest-tenured employee, with over 40 years of dedicated service. He began his career with The Lake Doctors as the first biologist/technician hired at the then-new Sarasota office and has since played a key role in the company’s growth and development.

Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1976, majoring in Biology with a minor in Fisheries. Prior to joining The Lake Doctors, he worked at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota as a Senior Staff Biologist in the Fisheries Department.

Throughout his tenure with The Lake Doctors, Ken has held multiple leadership roles, including Field Manager and Branch Manager, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the Fort Myers office. His extensive experience has contributed significantly to the expansion and advancement of aquatic management services across the region.

Outside of work, Ken enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, and playing board and dice games. He values time with his family, including his children, grandchildren, and his wife, Cheryl.
