Katie Connors-Mathew is the Marketing Director at The Lake Doctors, where she leads all content creation and oversees the company’s full digital presence. As the creative force behind the brand’s voice, she blends industry expertise with humor and personality to create authentic, engaging connections with audiences across every platform.

Katie’s career is rooted in communication and storytelling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of North Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude, earned Dean’s List honors, and was named Outstanding Senior in Multimedia Journalism. She began her career in broadcast journalism, interning and appearing on-air with News4Jax and CW17, experiences that continue to shape her ability to connect with audiences and influence her content style today.

Katie was the youngest honoree recognized in Nassau County’s inaugural “40 Under 40” and is a graduate of Leadership Nassau’s Class of 2024. Katie is a licensed health insurance agent, Florida Notary Public, and FAA-certified drone pilot. At her core, she is a storyteller. She believes that strong relationships and a sense of humor can make even the most technical industries feel approachable and human.

Outside of work, Katie is deeply family-oriented and the only daughter among five children. She enjoys exploring new restaurants with her husband, Leroy, and spending time with her large, close-knit family.
