Doug Porter serves as Chief Financial Officer at The Lake Doctors, where he has been since August 2022. In his role, he oversees the company’s financial strategy, reporting, and operational support to drive sustainable growth.

Before joining The Lake Doctors, Doug built a diverse background across multiple industries, including commercial real estate, governmental and fund accounting, wholesale/retail manufacturing, and healthcare. His broad experience provides a well-rounded perspective on financial management and business operations.

Doug earned his degree from the University of North Florida in 1999 and grew up in Fleming Island, Florida.
A fun fact: Doug taught high school math and coached high school boys basketball from 2002 to 2005, and later founded and operated a basketball academy from 2012 to 2016.
