With over six years of hands-on experience in aquatic vegetation management, David Whitaker specializes in herbicide application and the physical removal of invasive species. He began his career focusing on mechanical and manual removal methods, building a strong foundation in field operations and environmental stewardship.

David joined The Lake Doctors nearly four years ago as a Field Technician in the Winter Springs office. Through dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence, he advanced into his current role as Field Manager for the Fort Pierce location, where he oversees field operations, leads teams, and ensures high-quality service delivery.

Outside of work, David is an avid fisherman with a deep appreciation for Florida’s native ecosystems and wildlife. He is also a devoted family man who values spending time with his wife and two sons.
